I have a few questions for you :
1) did you set up any VM with reservations (etiher CPU or memory)?
2) which Admission Control Policy did you choose, and what level did you set it up with?
Your slot size is based on the biggest reservations you have set up. In the absence of those, you have a default value (I could find it in my docs somewhere).
I can already tell you that the number of available slots is based on your memory slot size (536MB). Since your cluster have 2.4 GB available, you could only carve 4 536MB slots into these 2.4 GB. I hope I am clear enough...
